What does energy specifically mean

Energy refers to the resources that can provide energy. The energy here usually refers to heat energy, electrical energy, light energy, mechanical energy, chemical energy and so on. A substance that can provide kinetic, mechanical and energy for human beings

Energy sources can be divided into three broad categories :

(1) energy from the sun. Including direct energy from the sun (such as solar thermal radiation energy) and indirect energy from the sun (such as coal, oil, natural gas, oil shale and other combustible minerals and fuelwood biomass energy, water energy and wind energy, etc.).

(2) Energy from the Earth itself. One is the geothermal energy contained inside the Earth, such as underground hot water, underground steam, hot dry rock; The other is atomic nuclear energy contained in nuclear fuels such as uranium and thorium in the earth’s crust.

(3) Energy generated by the gravitational pull of celestial bodies such as the moon and sun on the Earth, such as tidal energy.

Primary energy sources are further classified. Energy that can be replenished continuously or can be regenerated in a shorter period is called renewable energy, whereas non-renewable energy is called. Renewable energy sources include wind, water, ocean, tidal, solar and biomass. Coal, oil and natural gas are non-renewable energy sources.

Geothermal energy is basically a non-renewable energy source, but from the perspective of the huge reserves in the earth’s interior, it has the nature of regeneration. The new development of nuclear energy will make the nuclear fuel cycle and have the property of proliferation. The energy of nuclear fusion is five to ten times higher than that of nuclear fission, and deuterium, the most suitable fuel for nuclear fusion, is abundant in the sea, which is “inexhaustible”. Nuclear energy is one of the pillars of the future energy system.
